Richard Day

President

A qualified lawyer and member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI), with more than 12 years’ experience in Corporate Finance at Cazenove & Co. (now JP Morgan Cazenove). He was then one the founding partners of institutional stockbrokers Arden Partners plc in 2002 and Head of Corporate Finance for most of his time there, helping to build the corporate client base from scratch to close to 50 by the time he left in 2015. Richard has extensive experience in capital raisings, corporate governance and public markets across a range of sectors

Asif Malik

Managing Director

A financial and management professional with more than ten years of experience in financial services, which includes private investments and corporate finance in diverse sectors. Asif has been a Director of Hayat Capital since 2011 and has been involved in various UK and international transactions, closely working with investment houses, law firms, fiduciary services and investment banks. He has a Master’s degree from the United Kingdom and gained various certifications from the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI). With his extensive network and relationships in India and Middle east, Asif was highly instrumental in expanding the business in Oman, targeting GCC region.

Advisory Board

Abdul Majeed Al Zadjali

Advisor in the Diwan of Royal Court, Sultanate of Oman. Graduated in France, Abdul has more than 40 years of experience in various Oman Government matters, with diverse responsibilities. He closely works with various Ministries of the Government of Oman and International Governments/High Commissions with respect to handing and managing the Royal protocols and duties.

Awatif Al Hakman

Director General at the Ministry of Finance, Sultanate of Oman, with more than 35 years of experience in taxation covering a wide range of responsibilities and disciplines. Awatif has been involved in various committees and groups in drafting the tax law, double taxation agreements (DTA), exploration and production sharing agreements (EPSA), reorganization of the tax department with the Ministry of Finance, Value Added Tax (VAT) and implementation and other critical Government policies. She has been the representative from the Ministry of Finance as a board member in UBAF Bank - Bahrain, Oman Gas Company SAOC, Oman Shipping Company, RAK Petroleum and Oman Environmental Service SAOC. Awatif gained her MBA from the United Kingdom.
